Bandry

On the map, in the app

Find rehearsal space near you.

Bandry's Resources tab maps the rehearsal and practice rooms around you, live from Apple Maps, so you find a room without asking the whole group chat. Then find the players to fill it. The space and the people, one app.

The space

Rooms near you, pulled live.

Tap Rehearsal in the Resources tab and the map fills with the spaces around you, with directions a tap away. It's live from Apple Maps, so it stays current and works in any city, not just a list someone got around to building.

What to look for

Hourly or lockout, and what's in the room.

Hourly vs lockout

Book by the hour and share the room, or hold a lockout that's yours month to month with your gear left set up. Lockout pays off once you're in there several times a week.

What's provided

Ask what's in the room. Many hourly spaces include a PA, a drum kit, and amps; some are empty walls. Confirm the backline is there and in decent shape before you book.

Access and neighbors

Hours and entry, load-in and parking, soundproofing, and climate control if you're storing gear. A room you can't get into at night isn't a deal.

The people, not just the place

A room with no band is just a room.

Once you've got the space, fill it. Post what you need on the bulletin, set it local so you only see players who can actually make rehearsal, and link up direct. Finding the room and finding the band happen in the same app.

Questions

Finding rehearsal space

How do I find rehearsal space near me?

Open Bandry's Resources tab and tap Rehearsal. It pulls the rehearsal and practice spaces around you live from Apple Maps, with the address and directions a tap away, so it works in any city without waiting on a curated list. Then use the bulletin to find the players to fill the room.

What's the difference between hourly and lockout rehearsal space?

Hourly rooms you book by the session and share with other bands, which is cheaper and fine for an occasional practice. A lockout is your own room month to month, where you leave your gear set up and can come in anytime. Lockout costs more but pays off once you're rehearsing several times a week or storing a backline.

Does the rehearsal space provide gear?

It varies, so ask. Many hourly rooms include a backline, a PA, a drum kit, and amps, so you show up with sticks and a guitar. Others are empty four walls. Confirm what's there and what shape it's in before you book, especially the drums and the PA.

What else should I check on a rehearsal room?

Soundproofing and neighbors, load-in and parking, hours and access, and whether it's climate controlled if you're leaving gear. A cheap room you can't get into at night, or that bleeds into the room next door, costs you more than it saves.

Can I find bandmates to rehearse with too?

Yes. The room is the easy part; the players are the point. Post what you're looking for on the bulletin, set it local so you only see people who can actually make rehearsal, and link up direct. Finding the space and finding the band live in the same app.
